Who we are
AKG Marketing (ABN 64 228 906 906) is a B2B lead generation business based in Brisbane, Queensland. This policy covers akgmarketing.com.au and the services we provide from it. If you want to talk to a person about anything on this page, email hello@akgmarketing.com.au.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form on this site, which is:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you give it
- Your company name and website
- Whatever you write in the message box
We also collect basic, aggregated visit statistics such as page views and referring sites. These are not tied to you personally and we do not build a profile from them.
What we do with it
We use it to do the thing you asked for, and to reply to you. If you request a free video audit, we use your website address to research your business publicly and your email address to send you the recording.
We may keep your details on file so we can follow up about that specific enquiry. You can ask us to delete them at any time and we will.
What we do not do with it
- We do not sell your information, ever, to anyone.
- We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
- We do not add you to a general mailing list because you filled in a contact form.
- We do not use it to build advertising audiences.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not set advertising or profiling cookies. Any analytics we run is privacy-preserving and aggregate. If that ever changes, this page changes with it and we will ask you first where the law requires it.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in our own customer system, hosted on infrastructure operated by reputable providers with data held in secure, access-controlled environments. Some of those providers operate servers outside Australia. Access is restricted to AKG Marketing personnel who need it to do their job.
How long we keep it
For as long as it is useful to the relationship, or until you ask us to delete it. Where we are required to keep business records for tax or legal reasons, we keep those for the period the law specifies and no longer.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop contacting you
Email hello@akgmarketing.com.au and we will action it. We aim to respond within five business days and will not make you jump through hoops. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Our own outreach
We run cold email outreach as a service and we do it for ourselves too. If you have received an email from us and would rather not, reply and say so, or email hello@akgmarketing.com.au. We will remove you and we will not need a reason.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No system is perfect. If a breach ever occurred that was likely to cause you serious harm, we would notify you and the OAIC as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be obvious rather than buried.
